New Year, New Hair Trends!

In 2012, the most popular hair trend has to have been dip-dying by a mile!

Dip-dying has been the easy way to brighten up your hairdo without changing it completely. Made famous due to celebrities such as Caroline Flack, Jessica Alba and Katy Perry - this ombre look has certainly been the way to go for your hair.

Now its time for dip-dying to move over as Hair-Veiling and Colour-Flipping are the new styles for 2013.

For both trends good condition of hair is most definitely the key!

What will be hot...

ICE ICED BLONDES

This is an extremely cool blonde tone - not a pastel like tone, think more of a frost finish that will make you look like a princess, an ice princess. Best suited to fair skin tones.

SCORCHING BURNED BRUNETTES

These will be warm browns inspired by real rusty tones. It will suit most skin tones with its warmness. It has a super glossy finish and has already been seen on the runways.

TRUE REDS WITHOUT THE COPPER

2013 will be a year for high colour, glossy redheads - the type of red only achievable with expert colour. Not only this but dramatic red will be everywhere...the more dramatic the better!

HIDDEN COLOUR WITH HAIR VEIL TECHNIQUE

This is the most exciting new hair trend for 2013. The veiling technique creates hidden panels of colour so that when you flip your hair from one side to the other it exposes contrasting colour.

Edgy but hidden easily - so its incredibly wearable in both day and night.

CRAZY FLIP REVERSED COLOUR

With dipped ends out and splashed colour gone, its now time to completely change it up! The crazy colours will be at the crown and the roots meaning the ends are left completely natural. This means distinct colours can be rocked by anyone - blondes can add dusky rose tones and brunettes can add denim blues...its definitely one to watch as its already been seen on the catwalks.

Edgy, different and completely flipped! These are the hair trends for 2013. So will you be following these new hair trends in the new year? Go on, give them a try!

My New Little Blog

So, here's my second blog!

My first one is about one of my main loves - Liverpool FC.

This second blog is about another of my loves - being a girl! Now by this I mean girl's fashion, girls's lifestyle and anything else interesting along the way.

I have to admit, this second blog was inspired by Lauren Conrad and her website http://laurenconrad.com/

Lauren Conrad has been one of my idols since I first saw her on The Real OC and then The Hills, I just seriously admire everything she has done off the back of them shows along with her determination to succeed.

Her fashion lines are fantastic, her books are brilliant and her little blogs on her website really help and it goes to show that you CAN do what you want to if you try and really set your mind to it!

So, I am going to (try) and follow her lead. I really want to be a fashion, music and football journalist and I love to blog so I am going to mix everything together in my blogs and see where it gets me! Hopefully it may lead to me finding my dream job - just like Lauren Conrad did!.

Hope you like my blog too :)
